Music and battle sequence continues to show on screen, but the wizard cannot end her turn or do anything else until the game is quit and reloaded. In multiplayer, -every- time the level 9 wizard in our party OR an enemy spellcaster casts an area of effect spell on a group of creatures, especially if those creatures are higher challenge rating, the game freezes while calculating saving throws. This has really annoyed me because now I am playing a game I just don't want to be playing because I can't play my character to its current full potential, but I have to continue playing as my friends are playing and I don't want to let them down by giving up the campaign. There also seems to be no way of going back and editing my level up to equip the metamagic again either so my character feels very underpowered compared to the rest of the party and there's nothing I can even do about this. I am now stuck with a Sorceror character at level 4 with less spells than normal and no metamagic, the next time I can gain metamagic is at level 10 too and I can only choose one. Since coming back on to continue our campaign none of my spells or metamagic choices had saved, but the level up progression had. We levelled up to level 3 and it made me choose my metamagic choices and then my spells, after this I advised the host I was done and they saved the game and then ended it and I then quit the game. I am currently playing a campaign with friends on Xbox. **This is like 90% of the bug fixes we actually make, and that's why we aren't releasing them before the Sorcerer Update.** When this happens, we simply fix the issue and wait for the next update to release it. Example: One beard model was misplaced on dwarven faces, making it look very weird in cutscene. * Someone reported a bug, which we can fix, isn't urgent nor minor. **This is an exception and not the rule, because it delays the work on everything else - so we only do this if it's really critical.** When this happens, we usually try to release a hotfix in the next few days after testing the hotfix to make sure it doesn't break something else. Example: Cancelling a level up deletes your character's sub-class. * Someone reported a bug, and it's urgent. This is due to the fact that the inventory is one of the earliest thing we programmed - and unfortunately it means it's also more prone to breaking than other features :( Example: During combat if you open your inventory, drag an item but then release it too soon by mistake, it still consumes your free action. * Someone reported a bug, but it is too costly / risky to fix. When you have a team of 17 people, you have to make those decisions sometimes. Example: In that particular dialog, the NPC voice line is a little too low compared to the PCs. * Someone reported a bug, but it's so minor that we decided not to fix it. Time spent doing that is time not fixing other bugs or working on new features** **This is the #2 cemetary for bugs, as it is extremely time consuming to try and reproduce a bug again and again when it simply. Example: someone keeps crashing when entering Bone Keep, but upon loading the save the player sent us we can enter Bone Keep without crash. * Someone reported a bug but we can't reproduce it. **This is unfortunately by far where most bugs die, as we lack information on how to reproduce the bug, where it happens exactly, and most of all - people don't send their save file for us to investigate.** Example: simply posting "I crash when I enter the city". * Someone reported a bug but there is so little information that we can't do anything about it. * Someone reported a bug but we didn't see the report - hopefully that should happen less often as we'll have an extra pair of hands dedicated to that soon **Official response from TA Community Lead u/Myzzrym**
